What is Ra?
Ra is very mobile, with the ability to push creeps while dishing some major damage. This guide will have the most potential in early game harassment while still easily pushing the lane. I will explain why I level up these abilities and go over why this is my item choice.
This is where I'll cover abilities. I put a point into my 3 because it buffs, debuffs, heals, and damages all at once. It's very useful in the early stages as it helps you push slightly while keeping your melee minions in top condition. Next, I put a point into my 2, to ensure a slow while moderately AA them to give some harass. I'll cover how to harass in the later parts of this. Notice, I do not put a point into my 1 until level 4, since it's not needed at the time. However, if I feel my damage isn't quite there, I could level my Celestial Beam before getting a 2nd point into my 3 (Solar Blessing). From then on, prioritize your 4-3-1-2. There is no need to get your one early levels as your 3 and 2 will provide enough harassment to make a push.
Item Build 1: Standard Safe.
1. Spear of Magus II - 1 HP, 1 MP
2. Finish Spear - Reinforced Boots
3. Void Stone
4. Gem of Isolation
5. Obsidian Shard
Abilities: Creeping Curse, Girdle/Puri Beads
Item Build 1 is the standard Ra Build, the average that I use mostly. Reinforced Boots SHOULD be finished so you can move faster, and added to that, a great passive for ra. Void Stone works WONDERS with Ra as your slow will get you in range to deal high damage while having somethinig to tank magic damage with. Gem, slows with your Chamber heal, big for escaping and zoning out foes. Obisidan is for more MP while bring extra penetration to the table. Remember you can always start divine Ruin if you know Hel is gonna mid, which is a way to counter her hard.
Item Build 2: The High Risk
1. Doom Orb
2. Wall of Absolution
3. Boots of The Magi
4. Gem Of Isolation
Abilities: Creeping Curse, Sprint
This is an abnormal build, consisting with the high risk high reward style of Doom Orb. Bringing Wall of Absolution to ensure penetration when hit with basics, but can always be replaced with Void Stone. Polynomicon will absolutely WRECK with a full build, full doom orb stack. But remember, dying removes your stacks meaning that you have to be careful on how you play. But, if you can keep stacks, you'll be a force to be reckon with.
Throw your 3 on the melee minions when they collide, this will cause the opposing minions to receive damage while healing your own and buffing them.
